These are were powerful figures from the Zigua people in Tanzania and were revered for their healing powers. This is a rare Zigua tribal female mummy fetish from Tanzania believed to protect the owner from spiritual powers, it is carved in hardwood with a dark patina, interesting features and shows visible signs of age and usage.
