Zande Drum (LMCL-024)

The Zande migrated from Sudan to the northern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. They live also in the Central African Republic and Sudan. This is a Zande drum and it was employed during initiations or ceremonies, it is old and bares a dark patina and has leather at the top. It is without a doubt a bush collected item.
