The Topoke people are an ethnic group that lives in the Isangi Territory south of the Congo River, downstream from Kisangani in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.  These were usually made from copper alloy, forms like these were recognized and used as currency for transactions.they were also used by the Topoke people as a bride price The metal content varies from copper to brass and in addition variations in size, form, and quality.
