The Pende ethnic group is found along Loango and Kasai Rivers in the Democratic Republic Of Congo, they are neighbors of the Kwilu and Kasai. Their sculptures depicted important ancestors and some were adorned to the roof of the chief’s house. The following sculpture has a brown patina and shows a good age.
