Ngbandi are an ethnic group found along the upper Ubangi River in the southern Central African Republic and the northern Democratic Republic of the Congo. The Ngbandi statues were carved in human form, these statues were used by the diviner, in magical ceremonies to avert evil spirits. The following male figure has a khaki patina with markings on its body and it shows perfect age.
