The Luba are found within South-eastern DRC (Zaire). The art of the Luba is known for the representation of women in Luba sculptures which is widespread and correlates to the important role of women in Luba society. The Lubatribe are best known for their chairs, divination bowls (mboko), beautifully carved bow stands, and memory boards (Lukasa).
