The Lombi are an ethnic group, located in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. They are not known for making masks but more famous for making sculpted figures. Little is known about the lombi masks so we could hardly find the use of this mask. This rare wooden lombi mask with red pigment, it has a nearly round face, small eyes, pointed nose. It has a worn-out patina, good signs of age, usage, exposure and seems to have lost a tooth.
