The Lokele as known as Kele people are a Bantu ethnic group located, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. They live on the banks of the Congo River. They neighbour the Topoke, Budja, etc. In this region, such spears ‘spear money’ commonly known as Liganda for large, important acquisitions like bride price,  The present piece of ‘spear money’ shows a classical form of this ‘primitive money’.   Forged from a single piece of iron. This rare Lokale spear is complete, without damage. It is a little rusty and shows signs of age but in good condition.
