Lega inhabits the virgin forest of eastern DRC, between the great lakes and the Lualaba River, next to Luba people. The Lega often carved zoomorphic figures, this is a bird and it was believed that such art forms were speaking to those who instigate arguments in his or her family and in other communities, those who quarrel will eventually become a victim.
