Kasongo is a town and Territory, located in Maniema Province of the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. The head of the statue usually has a hole at the top and this was purposely done to insert magical charges or serve to pass links. The following statue is a twin figure and bares a light brown patina, it shows visible signs of age and its no doubt a village collected figurine
