Karagwe Kingdom is in north-western Tanzania between Rwanda and Lake Victoria. The Karagwe Kingdom was an influential kingdom in the history of East Africa led by a hereditary of Kings and the chief said to have descended from the Bachwezi. This is an iron cow sculpted by the Karagwe people, we are yet to ascertain the function of such figures but this is no doubt an old bush collected figure and it shows visible signs of age and usage.
