The Hehe is an ethnic and Bantu language group based in Iringa Region in south-central Tanzania, speaking the Bantu Hehe language, they are the eighth largest tribe in Tanganyika. A nicely styled Hehe stool from Tanzania. Although elegantly carved, these three-legged and four-legged, stools are considered everyday objects and are also used for sitting whilst milking cows/goats. The edges of this Hehe stool are worn and scuffed from everyday use but does not take away the lovely style this stool holds.
