The Djonga are an ethnic group found in the Democratic Republic Of Congo. This mask has a basic oval shape and we suspect that it is a prestige mask as opposed to a face mask. Objects of the DJonga are quite rare, it is also a small tribe. We are not aware of any details from this literature about this type of mask.
